The Full Breakdown
ICON Park is an entertainment complex at 8375 International Drive, where I-Drive meets Universal Boulevard. It has more than 50 shops, restaurants and attractions around a central promenade. There is no park-wide ticket and no park-wide opening time: each attraction sells its own entry and sets its own hours. That makes the buying decision simple once you know which two or three attractions you actually want.
The Madame Tussauds and SEA LIFE combo ticket is the ticket most families and couples should start with. Both attractions are indoors, both sit inside ICON Park, and the combo includes free parking on site. Plan on two to three hours for the pair at an unhurried pace.
It suits a rainy afternoon, a first evening on I-Drive after a flight, or a lighter day between two theme-park days. Skip it if nobody in your group cares about wax figures: SEA LIFE on its own then makes more sense. The combo does not include the wax-hands workshop or behind-the-scenes tours.
The same listing also offers a Merlin Florida Ticket option. That adds the Orlando Eye, LEGOLAND Florida, LEGOLAND Water Park, SEA LIFE Florida and Peppa Pig Theme Park, all used within 14 days of your first visit (the three LEGOLAND-resort attractions on the same day). It only pays off if you are already planning a LEGOLAND Florida day.
SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium has Florida’s only 360-degree ocean tunnel, more than 5,000 sea creatures across nine themed zones, and a rock pool where kids can touch sea stars and anemones. It’s small enough to see in an hour or two, which is exactly why it works for toddlers and preschoolers. Our Orlando with toddlers guide pairs it with other short, calm stops.
Don’t confuse it with SEA LIFE Florida, the newer aquarium at the LEGOLAND resort in Winter Haven. That one opened in June 2025 and is included with LEGOLAND admission.
Madame Tussauds Orlando has 90+ wax figures in zones that include the Justice League, music, sports, movies and TV, and history. It’s built for photos, so it lands best with teens, groups of friends and anyone who follows pop culture. Younger children tend to move through quickly. If your group splits on it, the combo is still often the better buy, since SEA LIFE is next door.
The Orlando Eye with optional attractions is the observation wheel at the center of ICON Park. It stands 400 ft tall, a flight takes about 20 minutes in an air-conditioned capsule, and on a clear day you can pick out the Disney and Universal areas. Sunset is the slot many riders rate highest. The wheel doesn’t turn during thunderstorms or high winds, so summer afternoons can be hit and miss.
The key caveat for 2026: on September 19, 2026, the Eye was closed for annual maintenance with no reopening date posted. Check the Eye’s own opening calendar before you buy any ticket or combo that includes it. The name also changed back: what some older guides call “The Wheel at ICON Park” is the Orlando Eye again. Read our breakdown of the Eye ticket for the add-on options.
The Museum of Illusions ticket covers all exhibits, including an Ames Room that shrinks and stretches people, a vortex tunnel, a kaleidoscope and an infinity room. Allow 30 to 45 minutes. It’s best with two or more people, since most exhibits are set up for photos of each other.
The 7D dark ride is a short motion-seat game: 3D glasses, laser guns, zombies and robots. Sessions start every 15 minutes, so expect a short wait, and riders must be at least 3 ft 3 in tall. It sits next to the In the Game arcade and a mirror maze, which makes this corner of ICON Park an easy add-on for kids who still have energy after the aquarium.
Blue Man Group returned to Orlando on May 1, 2026, in a new purpose-built theater at ICON Park’s Universal Boulevard entrance, about five years after its run at Universal ended. The Blue Man Group ticket includes free parking on the upper garage levels. It is non-refundable, the show is loud, and there are about five minutes of strobe lighting, so it isn’t for children under 3 or anyone with epilepsy. For other evening ideas, see things to do in Orlando at night.
Getting there: ICON Park is on the I-Ride Trolley route along International Drive, so you can reach it without a car from most I-Drive hotels. Our Orlando without a car guide covers the trolley and rideshare. Drivers use the seven-story garage, where floors 4 to 7 are free and floors 2 and 3 are paid premium parking.
Opening hours: each attraction sets its own. As a guide, Madame Tussauds and SEA LIFE both open in the morning and close in the evening, but hours change by date, so check before you go.
Time needed: two to three hours for the combo, 30 to 45 minutes for the Museum of Illusions, about 20 minutes for the Eye plus any queue.
Under-18s: since April 2026, ICON Park can switch on a chaperone policy without notice. Guests aged 17 and under must be with an adult aged 21 or older, and each adult can supervise up to six minors. Teens planning to go on their own should expect to be turned away when it’s in force.
Heat and rain: everything above except the Eye is indoors. Orlando’s summer storms cluster in the afternoon and evening, so book the Eye for a morning or a clear, dry evening and keep the indoor attractions for when the sky turns.
Also on I-Drive, at Pointe Orlando, WonderWorks is the better pick for kids who want to touch and climb, not just look. Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition is the grown-up indoor choice on the same road. If you want Orlando’s outdoors instead, our things to do besides Disney guide starts with airboats and gators.

No single ticket covers ICON Park. It is an entertainment complex on International Drive with shops, restaurants and attractions, and each attraction sells its own entry. Most visitors buy one or two: the Madame Tussauds + SEA LIFE combo is the usual starting point, with the Orlando Eye, Museum of Illusions or Blue Man Group added depending on the group. See our indoor Orlando guide for similar options.
For most groups it is the Madame Tussauds + SEA LIFE combo. Both attractions are indoors, next to each other and take two to three hours together, and the combo usually costs less than the two single tickets. The Orlando Eye can be added through its own listing, but check its calendar first. If you are also going to LEGOLAND, compare the Merlin Florida Ticket option, which bundles seven Merlin attractions within 14 days.
On September 19, 2026, the Orlando Eye was closed for annual maintenance and had not posted a reopening date. Check the Eye's own opening-hours calendar before you buy an Eye ticket or any combo that includes it. When it runs, a flight lasts about 20 minutes and goes 400 ft above International Drive. The wheel also stops for thunderstorms and high winds.
ICON Park has no park-wide hours. Each attraction sets its own, and they change by date and season. Madame Tussauds and SEA LIFE open in the morning or late morning and close in the evening, while restaurants and bars stay open later. Check the attraction's own site on the day. For evening plans around I-Drive, see things to do in Orlando at night.
ICON Park has a seven-story garage. Floors 4 to 7 are free, floors 2 and 3 are paid premium parking, and valet is on the first floor. The Tussauds + SEA LIFE combo and the Blue Man Group ticket both list free parking. Without a car, the I-Ride Trolley stops along International Drive; our Orlando without a car guide explains fares and routes.
Not always. Since April 2026, ICON Park can activate a chaperone policy without notice. When it is in force, guests aged 17 and under must be with an adult aged 21 or older, and each adult can supervise up to six minors. Teens should plan to go with a parent or an adult friend. Our Orlando with teenagers guide has more ideas for that age.
No. The Orlando StarFlyer, a 450-ft swing ride next to ICON Park, is run separately and is not on ICON Park's own attractions list, so none of the tickets on this page include it. Buy it directly from the ride's operator if it is on your list. The tickets compared here cover Madame Tussauds, SEA LIFE, the Orlando Eye, the Museum of Illusions, the 7D ride and Blue Man Group.
