Universal Orlando Resort 2- Park 1-Day VIP Experience Ticket

4.5 (24 verified reviews)

About This Experience

This is a 7-hour guided VIP tour of Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, not a park ticket. Park admission is not included, and you must already hold a Park-to-Park admission ticket to take part. The ticket offer is also not valid for residents of the UK, US or Canada, so check that before you book. You check in at the VIP Reception, to the right of the theme park entrance next to Will Call.

Your guide plans the route across both parks, so you do not have to work out where to go next. During the tour you get priority entrance at select participating rides, chosen according to the itinerary and at Universal Orlando's discretion. Behind-the-scenes access is part of the day when available. Breakfast is served first and ends at a designated time on your itinerary, and lunch is included later in the tour.

You also receive one Universal Express Pass, which gives shorter waits once at participating rides, plus a VIP Experience souvenir lanyard and credential. On the day of the tour you get a VIP discount at select merchandise locations in the parks, and complimentary valet parking for one vehicle, subject to availability with advance purchase. Parties of more than 6 guests are split into separate tour groups, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

What is not covered: park admission, transport to Universal and any meals beyond the included breakfast and lunch. Parks, attractions and entertainment can close for refurbishment, capacity, weather or special events. This suits first-time visitors with limited time who want both parks handled for them. Families with small children should note that ride height limits still apply, and the day is built around rides rather than character meetings.

What Travelers Say

Rated 4.5/5 by 24 verified GetYourGuide travelers.

It was really a great day. Our guide first asked what we would like to do as a group and accommodated that. She made sure that we managed to do as many rides as possible. Our tour started at 10:30 AM. First, we had breakfast, which lasted until 11:00 AM. After that, we set off. We moved along quickly and experienced great attractions. At 2:05 PM, we went to lunch, for which time was scheduled until 3:15 PM. Then we continued. Our guide Gabriela also always explained to us how the attractions had been built and shared other brief interesting facts or fun facts. We were also allowed to take a look into the backstage area every now and then and even walk under a rollercoaster during the ride. It was a really great experience!

Excellent experience. Jacoby was our guide and he was so lovely and knowledgeable. A gorgeous breakfast and lunch were included. VIP meant we were brought straight to the top of the line for all the main rides. We also got behind the scenes access to some of the rides and workshops. Definitely saved us a lot of time not having to navigate the park ourselves or stand in line in standard queues. Afterwards we could use our VIP pass for the express lines on the rides which continued to save us time.

Our VIP day at Universal’s 2 parks was very professionally organised by Universal. Our guide Rose was excellent in her role, we could not have asked for a better guide. She managed and supervised us in a very professional manner while retaining her friendly and very personable nature. I also want to highlight two other points: The food provided by Universal for breakfast and lunch was of the highest quality. All Universal staff and representatives were friendly and helpful and are great representatives of Universal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the VIP Experience include park admission?

No. Park admission is not included, and you must hold a Park-to-Park admission ticket to take part, because the tour moves between Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure. Buy that ticket separately for the same date. The VIP Experience then adds the guide, priority ride access, breakfast, lunch, an Express Pass and the other perks.

Who can book this ticket?

The listing states the ticket offer is not valid for residents of the UK, US or Canada, so check your residency before you book. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and parties of more than 6 guests are split into different tour groups. If you are travelling as a larger family, expect to be in more than one group.

How does priority ride access work?

During the 7-hour tour, your guide takes you to select participating rides with priority entrance, chosen according to the itinerary and at Universal Orlando's discretion, so you will not choose every ride. You also get one Universal Express Pass, which gives shorter waits once at each participating ride. Height restrictions still apply, so check them if you are bringing children.

Are meals included?

Yes, one breakfast and one lunch are included. Breakfast ends at a designated time shown on your itinerary, and the timing can change. Travelers describe breakfast at the start of the tour and a scheduled lunch break mid-afternoon. Snacks, drinks and any dinner are at your own cost, although you do get a VIP discount at select merchandise locations on the day.

Where do I check in and is parking included?

Check in at the VIP Reception, to the right of the theme park entrance next to Will Call, at 6000 Universal Blvd, Orlando. Complimentary valet parking for one vehicle is included on the tour date, subject to availability with advance purchase. Your booking voucher explains how to pick up your tickets, so read it before you arrive.
